I first came across CPBS when I joined the work of the Domestic Workers Round Table (DWRT). I am very impressed with the legal professionals and students working energetically and selflessly to promote and defend the rights and interests of impoverished, distressed and vulnerable individuals and groups. For civil society to survive and thrive, we must give voice to the voiceless, and CPBS is doing exactly that.
I hope CPBS can attract more legal professionals to join them and grow from strength to strength. In these polarized and trying times, many under-privileged people and groups need our assistance and support. CPBS should be able to give them hope!
